Every year, the Alumni raise funds to produce a gala awards banquet for the McKinney Police Department. While many charitable organizations see a sizable percentage of the money they raise going to overhead costs such as employee salaries, MCPAAA is an all-volunteer group. Other than very modest expenses (such as web hosting) over 85% of the money we raise goes to directly benefit our police department.
