In McKinney, we know what it means to support our police.

The McKinney Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association is a dedicated group of volunteers comprised of graduates of the city’s free Citizens Police Academy. Our mission is to support the police with a variety of events, to show them just how much McKinney appreciates their work, their dedication, and their sacrifice.

Supporting Our Police is a community-wide thing.

The Alumni Association’s main project each year is to plan and produce the annual awards banquet gala for the police department, where officers, civilian employees and volunteers are recognized for their work, above and beyond the call of duty. As part of this effort, we go out into the community, soliciting donors to fund this evening of thanks and recognition.

The Alumni Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 100% of your donations will go to benefit the McKinney Police. We have no paid staff, and minimal expenses.

Here’s just a few of the companies and individuals who’ve made a commitment to give back to McKinney, and show our police their support.

We want your help.

There are many ways you can help us help the McKinney Police. You can donate to our awards banquet, you can donate goods and services, as well. And if you want to get more involved, you can take the upcoming Citizens Police Academy course, and join the Alumni Association, after you successfully complete the classes.

Supporting our police, fostering community bonds. We raise funds and organize events to benefit our police department. Join us in making a difference.
